Creata Winner's Choice
Creata Winners Choice Gold Standard Horses were in production from 1998-2000. They were designed by Candace Liddy and distributed by John Lindsey and Gail Good from The Horse Collector, Ltd. There were 4 models created for Mass Market stores (such as Target, Sears, Toys'R'Us and Walmart), and 6 models created for Special Market stores.
Breyer/Reeves International purchased the Winners Choice Micro models in 2004, and rebranded them as Mini Whinnies. The Winners Choice Gold Standard models were retired in 2000 and not purchased by Breyer, but added to this site as an added reference for Winners Choice models.
Each model came with interchangable mane and tail as well as individual tack sets.
Special Market Editions had the first 30 pieces from each model signed and numbered and offered for sale at Breyerfest 1998. These pieces also came with a certificate and are very hard to find.
